  • mandythompson // May 24, 2008 at 9:03 am

    not nice!!!

  • @ngie // May 24, 2008 at 9:06 am

    Amazing!

I will forwarding this link along to some friends.

It is so cool that when the guy is under the sign after the slug part and he eats the wings and then starts spewing bugs the sign reads: General Director of Security Guards - Government of the City of Buenos Aires and then their phone numbers. You make the reference to the illegal nature of the act - and it is being preformed on the city’s official security guards building. Ha!

BTW - Buenos Aires is a great city to visit if you ever get the chance.

Thanks for posting this Mandy. :-)

“if i ever get the chance”
i’ll keep my eyes peeled for that. right now i’ve got a long list of blogging buddies to visit, not to mention an intense desire to go home & see family. luckily i don’t [yet] know anyone from Buenos Aires, so i’m not jonesing for ticket there!

And in between read, read, read, because I have so many books I am half way in between that I want to finish.

That was AMAZING. I sat here with my jaw hanging the whole time. WOW.

And slightly disturbing. Just a little. Then end, very distrubing. ;-) But WOW. THat was cool.

oh this weekend…. trying to not let the antibiotics make me hurl, cleaning house (hopefully) and I’m sure changing AT LEAST 50 diapers before Monday. ;-) Oh, and I hope to at least buy some cutains this weekend. Maybe.

  • alece // May 24, 2008 at 11:19 am

i can’t even imagine how long that took to make.

i’m spending this fine saturday with a great friend and her family in their cottage on a lake in northern(-ish?) wisconsin.

i’m still in pj’s although i HAVE brushed my teeth) at 10:15.

    i love slow, lazy days.

We have very different understandings of art - may be a generational thing…

Today? Work in the garden…take care of the pond…play with my puppy…shop with my daughter….

  • tam // May 24, 2008 at 1:34 pm

I almost puked up my Lucky Charms. Some of that was really weird!

Today, I am taking the morning slow. I have some cleaning to do, then off to church at 3:30 ish for a full weekend there…YAY!!! I love weekends! I don’t feel all that well tho so I won’t plan on much.

    ok. that was boring. thankyougoodbye.

I totally had no clue they were taping me vandalize my mother in-laws porch! Go figure…I thought the music was only in my head from the fumes, but no, it was there all along! Hark!
[nothing like a randomly placed "hark". Just for you, mandy mac!]

  • cathi stegall // May 24, 2008 at 2:11 pm

and Taminator, puking only creates abstract projectile features in your bathroom…try resorting to spinning in circles, it’s much more enjoyable!

  • Mark // May 24, 2008 at 6:01 pm

Crazy stuff - and very impressive. I would’ve loved to see more of a story made out of it instead of images morphing into each other over and over, but that may just be me. Still, it was great stuff.

  • TheNorEaster // May 24, 2008 at 6:08 pm

I spent this Saturday at a skating rink for a seven-year-old’s birthday party.

His mother invited me. Granted, it’s not my usual thing. But it was a lot of fun.

    And I needed fun.

  • mandythompson // May 24, 2008 at 6:19 pm

    TheNor: bless your heart.
Mark: i completely agree… the randomisity could’ve been plotted.
Pukers: no more talk of that on my blog!!! ladies. i can censor you two.
Michelle: generations? we can’t be that far apart!
    Al: still in pjs??
Brandy: first time i read “cottage cheese” i have NO idea why.
Tracie: retrospectively = went shopping for new work clothes (to be explained later), lunch with drew, “napped” - but not really - see Alece’s blog, planning for the next MTTV, talked to some real-life-here-at-seminary-friends, drew taught me to throw the frisbee, now cooking dinner. tell everyone on your list i said hey… made me homesick!!! :(

  • mandythompson // May 24, 2008 at 6:20 pm

    ps: i love y’all.
    :)

  • traciejane // May 24, 2008 at 8:46 pm

Mandy: oohh. feel bad. that was not intentional. :( was thinking it would make you feel closer to home, then afterwards realized that may have made you homesick… but to make up for it I will make a point to relay your hey. laura gets all excited when I say your name and katie will be like how is she doing? you are missed and loved. now that I wrote a book I will conclude it with I read the hilarious nap story on Alece’s blog and I am waiting patiently for the next MTTV. Will this be the one where questions are answered? If it is I will have my popcorn ready for the viewing :)

  • jonsquared // May 24, 2008 at 9:57 pm

That rocked! I can’t even imagine the time and effort it took to making that film. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

  • mandythompson // May 24, 2008 at 10:11 pm

Tracie: yes. questions to be answered.
    Jon: CHEERS!!!

  • traciejane // May 24, 2008 at 10:36 pm

mandy: great. thanks for the retrospective answer. tell drew I said hi. later.

  • Michelle // May 24, 2008 at 11:11 pm

    I could be your mother… ;)

  • cathi stegall // May 24, 2008 at 11:38 pm

    I could be your cousin…

  • Brandy // May 25, 2008 at 1:01 am

Okay I am officially really mad at wordpress. I just typed you a hilarious comment that I couldn’t recreate 100% if I tried…and it got “lost” or whatever happens when it stalls and then goes to a plain white page. UGH!!!

Okay, let’s try this again….. *deep breath*

I thought of you in the most HILARIOUS of moments tonight when Jake used the term “Alls.”

As in “alls you have to do is….”

I said “did you just say ALLS?”

Jake, “yeah, alls you have to do is….”

Me, hysterical laughter followed by “you just said ALLS!?!?”

Jake, “whatever I’m not going to tell you now”

(yes he seriously pulled the pout out)

Me, “no, no, no, show me. I’m laughing at something else”

And what was I laughing at? Your All ya’ll Aw Yaw Ya’ll video to the tune of Alls you have to do is….

I couldn’t stop laughing and he STILL doesn’t get why I was laughing. I keep telling him he needs a blog.

  • Brandy // May 25, 2008 at 1:05 am

I’m totally confused…..how did you get cottage cheese?? I have read and reread my comments…and I am totally confused. :???: Although, not hard to do.

  • mandythompson // May 25, 2008 at 5:09 pm

Michelle: no way. i’ll need to see a birth certificate!!!

    Cathi: or little sister.

Brandy: LOL. that’s a GREAT story. and, for some random reason, my mind read “cheese” after the word Cottage…. i dunno…… i think my mind saw c—–g —-se and read that instead of cleaning house. should i check myself into the emergency room?

  • Brandy // May 25, 2008 at 8:33 pm

    Emergency room? No.
    Literacy Center? Maybe.
    HA!!
