Artwork: Scapes
Looking beyond the technology and pace of modern society, I draw inspiration from the transcendence of the natural world. My land (and sea) scapes are loose abstractions that pull away from realism to capture the essence of nature. My paintings include colors that reflect the vitality of life, textures that communicate the physicality of nature, and strong horizontal lines with open spaces that evoke a sense of freedom. Life at its purest is good; my "scapes" are an invitation to engage in the natural beauty of life.
